Collective action adds up

Making a difference together

1% for the Planet was founded (2002) on the idea that a business has a responsibility to give back for use of our planet’s resources. To date, over $655million has been raised globally by members and given to environmental nonprofits.

So, one of the first things we did when loopa was founded was to sign up to The 1% for the Planet foundation and commit to donating 1% of all sales towards supporting environmental nonprofits that seek to protect, restore and preserve our beautiful planet - for us and future generations.

This means every time one of our lovely customers makes a purchase from us, there’s a participation in something bigger - helping all of us lead a more positive and impactful life.

We can do far more together than alone

Coral restoration

With more than 40% of their funding from 1% for the Planet, Counting Coral is merging the worlds of art and conservation through coral restoration initiatives. The founder, Jolyon Collier, figured there was one way to truly capture the public’s attention on coral reef deterioration – underwater sculptures that harbor restored coral species.
